Sorry for the silence yesterday, wanted to update but found myself a bit stumped as to what to do next, not due to lack of ideas but mainly choice paralysis. I'll also say... Man it's a bit of a conflict getting a lot of ideas for aggressively action-y shonen bullshit with the story on one hand, but on the other the more rational part of me tells me to build up some more natural escalation to get to that point in the first place... Would probably be jumping the gun a bit if I did it now, but I definitely know I want to write that kinda stuff specifically for Kartanon... Maybe I should just consider even getting to the point where I can do that as delayed gratification, if I manage to get there at all. For now though... Probably best to stick to slice of life shenanigans for tonal consistency's sake. I'll blame the desire to write that stuff on listening to so much final boss music as of late. Sorry for the blogpost, I've just been dwelling on this since yesterday. The consequences of going for a straight ahead writing style instead of key point to key point hadn't really been negative for me up until now...
