Just what am I doing wrong? I have been playing for almost a year now and I am fine with most other aspects of the game. Money, dungeon tokens, farm money, battle tokens, quest tokens (Huh... this game has a lot of currencies, I have played mobile games with less...) but have made what feels like no progress in the underground. All of my items from a year of play barely amount to 1000 diamonds and I only have a handful of shards. I have seen shops that sell things for thousands of diamonds, and to Mega Evolve Alakazam I need 1000 shards! Even if I follow the chains to get heart scales those only sell for a measly 10 diamonds each, I would need 1500 heart scales just to get a stupid variant of a Furfru when the others that needed any other kind of currency were easily affordable to me.
What am I missing? Is there any good guide on what to do with the underground? Have I overlooked what upgrades to focus on that would somehow make it much easier or more profitable?
