>>49102961Well, made it back faster than I thought, sandbox mode really is incredible. Going to add a rule that says I'm not allowed to edit IVs or natures though, so that effectively I'm still playing a regular run, just using sandbox mode to remove the tedium of grinding EVs and levels.
Also, I learned that the AI on Insane mode of this game does read your moves, though I'm not sure to what extent (apparently it only does it for Protect and similar moves, but I've heard reports of it reading switches too). So not quite sure why the Discord FAQ says it doesn't, very disappointing. Still a fun enough game.
>CandiceThe gym leader herself making a cameo. Her team - Sneasel, Piloswine, Glaceon, Froslass.
Gigalith leads and Bulldozes in case she switches, which she does, to Piloswine. I send in Roserade to clean up as it sets hail, then back to Gigalith for Sneasel, who stays in this time. A pivot to Torkoal takes care of Froslass before it has the chance to set up Double Teams, and Bibarel finishes off Glaceon.
Going to take on the actual third gym tomorrow.
>>49104220100%, Lanturn. Used to think it was a kind of shitty generic water mon because of bad stats but holy fuck has it been bar none the most consistently reliable mon I've ever used in nuzlockes, its toolset and variability are deceptively gigantic. Plus it's cute.
>>49105198Well, do you use dupes clause? I do as an unspoken rule and thus I would never be able to do that.
Like the other anon said though, do what you feel is the most fair and fun for you, I think getting only 2 and trading one for Larvesta sounds fine.
>>49106229Lenora (and Burgh to a lesser extent) is like multiple tiers of difficulty above this, good luck.
Def recommend grinding out a Water Stone for the monkey, you'll want the extra firepower.
>>49107776RIP.
The best thing to do is to adapt to your opponents and change up your team accordingly. Also, especially for Cynthia, abuse setup, it's real good against AI in regular games.
