It really depends. Most isekai protags are fucking losers in our world who were one bad day away from killing themselves, per Japanese tradition. They have no friends, lovers, family, a shit job or bottom of the school totem pole, and going to a new world (8 times out of 10, with cheat magic or special knowledge) makes them the super cool exotic foreigner with unrivaled power. IE, not a loser. It's an upgrade.
If I were taken as I am now with no way back, I'd be pissed. I've got me mum and da, two sisters, a decent cushy job, and all the modern conviences a fucker could want. If the MC of PLA is the same, I would have teamed up with Volo and curbstomped Arceus ala generic JRPG plot of killing god.
