Pokemon have unique abilities to help them stand out, regardless of their body type. Braixen is a humanoid Fire-type too, but don't tell me it and Blaziken aren't going to play differently.
Look, I'm not saying I wouldn't mind seeing more quadrupeds like Suicune or something like Chandelure. But saying too many bipedal Pokemon will make this a Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat clone is weak. The real issue is having two of the same species take up slots.
