The custom skins were 100% worth any trouble it caused, and it's most certainly better than Rotom looking depressed for the rest of your entire experience in Alola once you've beaten the game. Seriously, who unironically perfers Rotom over pic related, or even a fully custom one that you can make yourself and hack in via Pkhex?
