Your subjectiveness is completely irrelevant - Lucario is one of the most powerful megas and as the graphic shows, a big part of it is thanks to Nasty Plot making its special set viable.
Otherwise, look at the definition of powercreep above. Consider that powercreep doesn't means "broken". Read the thread title again and (use your head on this one!), consider why nerfing the second and third best special boosting moves is a way of curbing powercreep.
