>>53369182Took a long while to get Dracovish banned. It all came down to warping teambuilding to an unhealthy degree. Dracovish had a mid winratio but that's because most if not all teams were forced to use Seismitoad. It acted as a faux Lando-T since the original wasn't in the game yet. It was built as a physical wall, had water absorb for Dracovish and packed in utility in Toxic and Stealth Rock while still having access to Scald. Sadly we were in early gen 8 which means it would suck ass vs any teams not using offensive water. Shadow Ball spam was a thing and suddenly we had multiple variations of defensive Seismitoad that aren't relevant to this case.
Rain offense was also bringing up Seismitoad's usage, but more naturally. Rain was abusing Dracovish for wallbreaking and had Seismitoad as a possible swift swimmer.
The effect was less Dracovish usage, but the threat of facing one would still force people to bring their shitty Seismitoad. Bulky Offense, Balance and Stall didn't want to be forced to play Seismitoad as it would be an extremely terrible pokemon against teams without Dracovish. All while teams without Seismitoad would get continuously one shot by Mr. Fish. Another factor was that early gen 8 was a very slow meta, so scarf Dracovish was a threat.
I'm quite sure Walking Wake can't match Dracovish in damage. And most likely won't be warping teambuilding. But give it some time, maybe it happens and Wake has to be banned.
