There can be good sides to the Dark Type. Something can be Dark for counterintuitive reasons, and circle around again to not actually being "bad". Like Nanu, who specializes in Dark Types but he's doing it in a Batman-esque way where he presents a harsh intimidating demeanor but is using it to fight crime and do good. Or like Absol, who likewise has a fearsome reputation and has the ability to sense ill-fated events, but chooses to use this power to warn people. Dark has edgy-but-misunderstood side, or even at times a helpful side.
Fire is not like that. There is no good side of Fire, it just ruins everything around it.
