You didn’t notice her at first when your eyes scanned the town trying to find something of note, but she just appears out of nowhere standing smack dab in the middle of the ghost town as if she’s been standing there forever. Her gaze is unfocused yet fixated on you, she stands slouched swaying from side to side as if she’s intoxicated. She remains in that one spot but doesn’t move, instead you move towards her. You don’t know why but you just can’t control yourself. Finally you get close enough to stand arms-length across form her. “Welcome” she says as she puts her hands on your shoulders, then everything goes black.
You awaken in a stone room strapped to a chair with a gag in your mouth, presumably in the basement of some building. A low reverberating hum that sounds like a detuned violin strumming away at the lowest possible and water dripping are the only sounds you can here. Across from you stands Mina with the same blank expression upon herself. “You’ve come here for the fairy trail I presume?” she asks in a rhetorical fashion. You can’t respond to her, she walks over to you and strokes your hair, letting the strands flow in her hands as if it were water. “Such a smooth feel” she tells you, “Despite taking on the island trial you’ve taken care of yourself well. I can tell that you shampoo and condition religiously, never missing a day and never polluting your hair with added chemicals.” She brings her fingers down to your cheeks, sliding them across each cheek in a circular motion. “Such soft skin, no blemishes and not a hair to be found. You’re just so…beautiful,” she whispers in your ear with a great emphasis on the word beautiful.
