they float around, seemly weightless. They can store large amounts of air, food and water in their body, and glow at night/in the dark. Since it's a red giant It's bigger than it's evolution.

they use their elastic trunk to suck in things much larger than themselves. Whatever they suck in is transported to a hammerspace. Simply having things in it's hammerspace keeps it alive (hence having to hold an item to evolve, needing to have something in it). The hammerspace acts as a sort of stomach, but it doesn't digest or destroy anything. They have the ability to suck themselves into their own hammerspace, giving them the ability to be safe from harm. They get out the same way they get in (It's pokemon. don't ask). Think of it like the snake eating its own tail, but it disappears like in cartoons.
