And maybe restat a bunch of fully evolved bug types. The game has changed far too much to have weak mons be weak for the sake of being weak, especially when the same type has Pokémon like Scyther, Heracross, and Pinsir etc.
Like, the early route bugs can all be optimized the same way mega beedrill was. Butterfree has a 45 attack stat? Reduce it to 15 and slap that extra 30 points into defense. when I as a kid I thought bugs were supposed to be tough because they had exoskeletons
