I haven't posted on this board in a while, but to keep adding content, here's Ming-Ming! She's a chef and martial artist, and my main character in a dnd campaign I'm in with some buds. She travels to find some rare ingredients, and her partner Pokemon she raises are dragons and fluffy creatures, such as her Flygon!
She was raised in Alola, so if that region weren't around as I was designing her, I probably go with Hoenn initially. I identify her based on tropical regions, and the West half of Hoenn definitely gives me those vibes.
