because like cream is 100% a manmade thing, they literally can't exist until a human turns milk into cream and it somehow becomes a pokemon. And it's the only pokemon thats definitely made to be eaten, which is kinda creepy to me. No other pokemon is just straight up a manufactured food product, even Swirlix and Vanilluxe are normal creatures that just happen to look like food.
Also I don't think strawberries in particular exist in pokemon. sure other pokemon have things that actually exist like farfetchd's leek, but pokemon already has set a precedent that only these berries exist, and many are replacements for real berries (pinap, nanab, watmel) but there's nothing that even resembles a strawberry here. So those things in Alcreamie's hair are just real-ass strawberries? Which is really stupid to me.
All that aside its a cute design but a lot of things about it bother me
