>>43613586The fact that the surge dropped off months ago and Animal Crossing is now going beast-mode and yet SwSh is still outpacing XY, SM and BW in the weekly metrics is impressive though. It means that regardless of the intense online negativity the game is still selling. Which is a perhaps humbling reminder of how low we, the hardcore fans, matter to the grand scheme. Look at the chart, it's the smallest drop percentage of the franchise since XY, and possibly since DP too (its impossible to track since, y'know, back then the games were not released worldwide in the same month)
By the by, this is actualy the second report since SwSh's release, and the previous one -also- reported an increase in Online Subscriptions thanks to SwSh's launch, so that's not just an Animal Crossing boost.
