>>39196466I'm not refusing to buy it because they're culling Pokemon. I couldn't care more about that, honestly. There are always going to be a plethora of Pokemon that I like and want to use regardless of others being cut. I understand other people's feelings though.
I'm refusing to buy it because this is the pinnacle of GameFreak's laziness and bullshit. They claim that they're going about this to put more devtime into the chosen Pokemon being more expressive with livelier and improved animations, on top of gameplay balancing. In reality, that was just a cover for their horrible incompetence and poor optimization skills; The games obviously still look like shit for a Switch title, and cutting Pokemon, both good and bad, will only make the game more centralized around those at the top.
