>>57286971Ok maybe baton pass is kinda busted. Did pretty much everything I said I'd do. However the rival started off with a Sand Attack, which meant I couldn't sweep with the same strats. Had to pivot to Iono and when Rhydon came in, Wake barely survived a crit Earthquake. Mimien came back to eat a Solar Beam, but with Wake so damaged, I had to pass to Iono instead when Gyarados entered. When Alakazam came in, Iono set up a Light Screen but unfortunately it's 3x resistance to special moves were ignored by a crit. It at least gave me an opportunity to get in Clay safely to OHKO with it's own Earthquake. The Light Screen was helpful in tanking 2 Flamethrowers as well, but he definitely would've died if not for leftovers.
Katy (and Mable lol) did their role of looking cute.
Overall, two very fun runs. Probably will take a break before Emerald (maybe try out a hack).
