At the breeding place Lyra totally wasn't my gf.
Made my way to Goldenrod and immediately bought a couple items at the megamart. I'll hold off on evolving Staryu until I get bubblebeam in a few levels. While exploring Goldenrod, Lyra made sure to ambush me. Oh I think she like me, better yet I know. Lights, camera, action when I walk through the door. She tried to hax me to death with Blizzard and Thunder, the former freezing right away. After wasting a bunch of potions, I just switched to Nexus-6. Marill tried to double team spam, but I had the counter. See, evasion is totally balanced. Git gud. Roselia did jack shit and I didn't screen cap fast enough. Ninetales actually survived a Power Gem easily, but even with Flamethrower, it was a pillow puncher. Lyra gave me some fashion shit afterwards.
