If you're not a fan of handholding, the first few hours might be tedious, it gets better as you progress. It is rather easy to build a team for competitive play if you think you are into that. If you are willing to spend 30 extra bucks you can get the DLC for some extra content (DLC 1 is mainly a competitive expansion, the second is more exploration and adventure based) but i suggested buying that only if you enjoyed the base game, otherwise it might be not worth it. As for me, i enjoyed this gen quite a lot l, despite the seething it caused. Played something around 400 hours, thinking about playing some more after i finished other games. Gonna crank one out in the Marnie thread later today.
