If I were a colored creature with human sapience in this world, but unable to say anything besides my species name, the first thing I'd do is to procure myself a touchscreen to communicate with people using TTS and save money to buy some cheap land in some faraway area like Alaska, Siberia or Patagonia and live quietly. Maybe even let other colored creatures like myself and start a village.
Besides you would be more likely to be chased for tax evasion than to study the source of your superpowers.
