I always find it funny when grown adults are getting this upset over a video game that is geared towards children. Most of you angry people are most likely going to end up playing the games anyway. Has anyone heard of hard drive space? For them to add every Pokemon into the game with all their 3D models, animations, story, text, etc takes a lot of space for each Pokemon. Unless next gen consoles have the capabilities for terabytes and terabytes of space then expect this to happen every new generation as the number of Pokemon increase.
The first Pokemon games only had bytes of data left because of the amount of stuff they packed in there. They even removed all of the debugging code to make stuff fit.
