Hello, I’m one of the the translators for the new Pokemon games, and I have some information here on the games
> The games are called Pokemon Earth and Pokemon Space
> The games are heavily themed around nature and astronomy, with the people being very connected with the land
> The region is based off of India
> The starters are a grass chital (spotted deer), a fire snake, and a water elephant
> The legendaries are based off of a Sloth bear, who is a Grass/Psychic type, and an Indian wolf who is an Ice/Fighting type
> There are about 90 new Pokemon
> 35 new regional variants
> 12 new Megas
> Gyms are back, yet most of them remain outside or exploring an area, but instead of fighting Pokemon, you’re fighting trainers like a normal gym. A couple of the gyms have a separate task you must complete beforehand, till the gym leader will challenge you. Think going through the Lighthouse to help Amphy, and then Jasmine battling you after the fact, when she’s back at her gym.
> There are a lot more “side quests” in the game. They are smaller activities, from as simple as watching after someone’s Pokemon for them, to whole side stories with cutscenes where you help a gym leader take down a powerful pseudo-legendary Pokemon. These are all completely optional, and the rewards can go from simple PokeCash are some potions, to an extra Master Ball.
> The evil team is a team full of scientists who want to know what will happen if Earth and Space meet. Their goal is to get the two legendaries into a battle, which will break Earth out of its atmosphere and push it out of orbit.
> The games are compatible with Pokemon Go, allowing you to transfer any Pokemon from your Go game, to Pokemon Earth or Pokemon Space. Unlike Let’s Go, there is no reward, or exclusive Pokemon. It’s just an optional feature.
