Boulderolls lacks the intelligence and social skills of Fosstrolls so they just likes to wander around without any thought an idea. Because of Bolderolls massive weight they walk very slowly and get very tired so they falls asleep at the very spot they stand. When they sleep they begin to form a mountain in order to not get spotted by other people and pokemon.
