Afaicg the "chill" factor is an artificial sense of ease created by a large community and slow-paced, choiceful gameplay.
- You could try nethack or openttd but they have a sloped learning curve and require at least a drop of autistic blood, so maybe you'd find yourself lost there.
- Yumme Nikki's good if you like exploring video game worlds, and there's a little imageboard out there that will give you what /vp/ has for pokemon, but better (until you lot of goons show up and break it).
