>>51012791I haven't entered these threads since the first Alain vs Leon battle, so I'm probably going to be repeating common opinions, but good fucking lord, this tournament is garbage. Almost no strategy involved, both sides just keep taking turns hitting each other and getting oneshot as if this was ripped straight from the games. The Cradily fight was unironically probably the most interesting thing so far, and that's an incredibly low bar. There's absolutely no sense of how strong these Champions are either, there's almost nothing that sets them apart from generic trainers this season in terms of portrayal. Such massive wasted potential for the anime as a medium to showcase how Champions fight only for them to pretty much be pure statchecking each other with oneshots and no dodging.
