>>42383804Pokemon is unironically ambitious in concept, sure there are more bad than good mainline games, but a good chunk of the issues arise because of the core premise. I'm not going to buy them, but no other franchise can boast the sheer number of unique playable characters. Half of your complaints are things that are non-issues and are not easily fixable or expected due to this aspect.
Game Freak is lazy as fuck and a terrible company, but reusing models isn't the biggest issue, it's the terrible plots and other corner cutting + Feature removal.
You can't expect the same attention to detail on all the mons as you would in a JRPG with 50 characters max.
