- he deosn't look too soft or safe like Bulbasaur and Venusaur, he looks like he can eat your face off if triggered or threatened like a predator, which is way too cool.
- Red's Ivysaur was literally way too OP that it could win against a freaking Zapdos alone, and it battled The legendary birds fusion while Blue and Green were using Blastoise and Charizard. Ivysaur saved both them using Vine Whips. dude isn't fully evolved and he did more than them.
It's also interesting that Shaun's Ivysaur fought together with Blastoise and Charizard against's Zygarde in XYZ too.
- Ivysaur is also noteworthy that it never ever appeared losing a battle in the anime. Everytime it appears, it kicks ass.
