The moment the lights go out, Anina tenses up and wraps her arms around her knees. She waits for the glass shards above her to come raining down so that they can impale her with their glassiness, but when no such thing happens, she looks up with puzzlement.
"Huh...?"
The light bulb is still there, its existence faintly made visible by the even fainter light shining through the gritty window.
"But... I thought I heard it crack...?"
The confirmation alone sends a shiver or three up Anina's spine, for although it confirms that her harsh screams are not responsible for the lights going out, it raises another more pertinent question.
>'Wh-What did t-then...?'"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
The mojyo busts out of that room faster than the speed of light itself. No longer does she care about her precious document so much as her own life and the safety of her companions that don't care about her.
"T-Too dark, c-can't see...where is...?"
Another lighting strike outside provides a brief luminescence that lets Anina capture her surroundings for a quarter of a second. The downpour is getting heavier, it doesn't seem like it'll stop anytime soon.
The Lost Hotel is known for its creepiness and eerie atmosphere, that was just fact and why Desdemona chose it as the guild HQ in the first place, but at this moment it feels especially terrifying.
"Guuuurrrgleeegurrrrrrrgleeeegurrrrrgleee.."The garbled noise of somebody gargling something behind her spooks Anina out of her skin.
A) KYAAAAAAAAAAAAA the fuck out of there!
B) Come at me!
