>>25105419WriggleP has thanks to Telescopic access to BP120 STABs without any drawbacks, 91% accuracy Stop (aka Sleep), and learns Mad Rush Stance (i.e. Shift Gear; you know this from PElly already).
For comparison's sake, let's compare WriggleP to Pokemon's denizen Dark type that uses high accuracy sleep to take out an opponent and then sets up when they switch out, i.e. Darkrai:
+2 252 SpA Life Orb Darkrai Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP / 252 SpD Shaymin: 274-325 (67.8 - 80.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
+1 64 Atk Straw Doll WriggleP Twilight Infection vs. 252 HP / 252 Def Shaymin: 277-328 (68.5 - 81.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
So in regards to STAB moves, WriggleP is basically tied.
Darkrai has fewer weaknesses to worry about (Fighting, Bug, Fairy vs Fire, Poison, Fighting, and a double weakness to steel), is much faster before setting up and thus can try and catch otherwise counters by surprise with Dark Void if they don't outspeed, and wins out when using non-STAB moves. WriggleP on the other hand has 7 resistances, is faster after she does set up, exists in a game wherein sleep clause doesn't exist, and is more accurate in regard to spreading sleep than Darkrai (Dark Void is 80% accuracy, Bewitching Pollen is 70% acc in the expansion and then boosted by Telescopic to 91% accuracy).
Darkrai probably wins out overall especially given the way the meta is working out, but even so it's closer than I expected.
