I led with Joestar and tried to launch a Hydro Vortex turn 1, but the damn thing Detected me and I only got a sliver of damage.
It instantly called in a "Salazzle" to help it. Me not knowing what the fuck that was, I attacked it with Bubblebeam assuming it was a Fire type.
It was faster than Joestar, who was the fastest member of my team, and damn near oneshot it with Venoshock. Luckily the Marowak went for Detect again.
In turn, I almost oneshot the Salazzle with Bubblebeam.
Seeing how fast Salazzle was, I figured the only way to safely kill it was Blacrat's Quick Attack. And that's when Marowak went for Brick Break and oneshot him.
Tried for Formidable's Quick Attack, but it wasn't enough, and he almost died too.
I used Gullet as death fodder to switch in Lass safely, who was able to lower the Marowak's Attack by three with Intimidate and Baby Doll Eyes while dying in the process.
Formidable was able to clean up from there. Lycrag had to take a hit because Formidable's Bite got disabled by Cursed Body.
I don't normally use Gyarados in these things on account of how powerful it is, but now's definitely the time to bring it out.
Hopefully I can evolve Skitterloo now.
