I did. Gen 1 sucked ass. Poor learnsets, sleep/wrap being cancer, awful level scaling, and horrendous trainer AI made it a slog to play.

Firered/Leafgreen are the definitive way to play Kanto, and even its still probably my least favorite region. Every gen besides maybe Sinnoh is leagues better.

IVs should just have 6 set values (ranging from awful to perfect) and each Pokemon has a cap to their total IVs; however no Pokemon will have across the board awful IVs. It'll always be balanced that for each awful stat, you have a perfect stat to counteract it.
