>>12055419That's true. The general lore of Pokemon catching for Johto was that people used Apricots, though I remember Drayden saying people needed to wrastle them and kind of prove themselves, in a sense, before a Pokemon would lend someone their powers, and fight beside them.
Besides that, I was never able to figure out how Apricorns really worked. I mean, hollow it out and put a device inside it? What does that even mean? What's the device? Is that technology?
The forming bonds seems like the easiest one to write about, and in that vein, it would mean only those capable or strong enough would be able to posses a Pokemon.
