>>50744657>>50745116Please remember that levels aren't literal and are merely a gameplay element meant to give a more obvious indicator of how far a player has progressed since they obtained their first Pokemon, otherwise this implies Red is so god awful a trainer that he's somehow able to level DOWN his Pokemon, something that's impossible in the core games without glitches, cheat codes or hacking.
EP009 of the anime literally had to spell it out that the world of Pokemon doesn't work exactly as the games show it.
