>>13554577Frankly, I think its out of nostalgia. I played a small amount of gen I and really got into the series durgin gen II so its more like a drug. I keep playing in hopes that I can retrieve that same excitement and enojoyment I got when I first played the games.
Whats sad is that If I had started at, say, gen IV or V I probably wouldn't be playing pokemon anymore, nor would I care about gen VI
