This is comibg from a guy who likes the Alola Starters and a couple Galarmons. In fact, I still stand by the opinion that Pokemon shouldn't follow too many rules on what they can be based on. One kf the series strongest points IMO is that it can take creepy/gross/ bizarre creatures and make them fit in its universe. See: The Lickitung line and a large majority of ghost types. In fact, here's a Paldea pokemon I like.
