So how come PM19 never capitalized on its seemingly endless potential? It feels like they were literally given free reign to do whatever they wanted, include any characters they wished, make up any arc they could imagine, do whatever they want to try and pump the figures and they did fuck all with it. Despite the supposed open-endedness of it compared to earlier series, it still feels like the most streamlined and linear of them all, and the most predictable too.
Is there any hope it'll be better going into a new series?
