I think the traits that make it special as a Pokémon are the capability of understand deeply the emotions of its trainer (Synchronize - Telepathy) and the fact that can see the future (Trace). There are another Pokémon that can do this in their own ways like Milotic and Gothitelle, but Gardevoir has this feminine human like design that make these traits stand out even more.
