I really liked him. He had a certain humor that I genuinely liked. I also liked how he was a sciencefag who explained everything with logic and reason. He's like a mix between Brock and Max.
>Iris
I agree. She represents failed goals. Kibago wanted to evolve. We didn't see it. And that Dragonite was such a cop out replacement for a Haxorus evolution. The 'Such a child.' doesn't annoy me as much as it does you guys, though.
>Alder
This is actually one of my biggest gripes. Why was he never shown for anything even remotely important? More importantly, why was he not at the League of his own region?? If Alder had accompanied the group for the Meloetta Arc, I would feel better... it also doesn't help I'm sick of seeing Cynthia force-fed to us everywhere.
>Team Rocket
I liked them serious.
Wondering what happened to Agent Pierce is something I really want to know, but never will. My head canon will always be he's related to Tobias.
>Team Plasma
Made them into generic take over the world villains. Needless to say, we'll never know their original plot thanks to that Earthquake. It looked so good, too... one of the seemingly best episodes in the entire series, ruined, literally, a few days before they aired. The only redeemable aspect of that entire arc was
>dat ass
>Trip
The only reason he was handled poorly was because his reception was poorly received from critics. He was going to be an actual recurring rival complete with his own team (remember, he already had a potential Team of 6 the 3rd time they battled)... but because he wasn't liked, he was demoted to nothing. I liked him though for what he was.
>Caitlin
I like the fact they alluded to her having some sort of role later on when she was saying how she to herself had some sort of inner pain or demons or something, and not going anywhere with it.
>The League
No.
>Gym Leaders
I thought they were, especially Clay but minus Kamitsure, handled well. the battles were exciting, to me.
