There are no human survivors except for the player chracter, who then spends the rest of their game on a pilgrimage spreading the Good Word of the benevolent CHARIZARD who cleansed Sinnoh of the Arceus-worshipping infidels. Once they have traveled to every other region, the player is deemed worthy enough to entire the Holy Land of KANTOOO and their starter is allowed to evolved into a CHARIZARD
