I shouldn't be able to travel further than 40 tiles without taking a drink. Water should be important, and food should also dehydrate you as it realistically does in life. Spending stamina should drain a large amount of thirst, and a small amount of hunger.
There needs to be a decay mechanic for player structures. Fences should naturally wear away over the course of several in-game days, requiring maintenance(which consumes resources). This should also consume part of the stamina bar.
Pokemon should have their own hunger and thirst bars. There should be a poke-trough that requires constant refilling, otherwise pokemon won't produce items.
There should be an injury system for pokemon. Each point of damage should have a chance of temporarily decreasing their stats(mostly HP), which can only be recovered by crafting injury-specific medicine.
The player character's head should constantly bob back and fourth, to simulate the Player's own autism. Standing idle near walls should case the PC to smash their skull against it, damaging the wall and injuring the player's maximum stamina for a day. Stamina stamina. Stamina.
