I know it can ruin the horny atmosphere but honestly I think they would be those kind of people and enjoy saying cheesy shit and making their partner laugh. Plus, I'd at least enjoy it more than generic fanfic dirty talk that could be literally any character. I guess you don't want to overuse it and make every sex scene sound the same but it's all context and mood dependent imo, works for certain times more than others.
I've done it a bit but haven't gone fully all out with the puns yet, got to find the right fic opportunity one day
