>>12418207I agree. I've never been much of one for conventional fighters, but they've always interested me. The format I'm most familiar with is the one from DBZ: Budokai. I like how the fights have a palpable rhythm but you can usually interupt a foes combo, and meter moves are an important part of play with a charge button available for the meter. Obviously a charge button here would be stupid, but I think that something with a meter filling rate and rhythm similar to the early Naruto Clash of Ninja games compressed into 2D and sprited would be optimal. I guess like something along the lines of MvC2.
