Done grinding up my new team member. Vasantha the Corsola has joined the squad. She got some nice buffs [75/105/105 bulk, 85 spatk, Regenerator, buffed ancient power) and I'm excited to use her ;w;

Alolan forms and gender variations (Pyroar, Jellicent) seem to work fine though, from what I've seen, so I dunno.

Best of luck with Rising Ruby. Words of advice... Shit starts getting real around Brawly and his illegal ass Hariyama. Horde grinding is your best friend, saves SO much time if you have a spread move and can net you some awesome catches. I would suggest catching a slave Surskit on route 102 or hacking in lots of honey (for grinding purposes only, ofc). You can get Bulldoze in Mauville to help a bit.
Also the levelup sets in this game are wild, I had shit like Giga Drain Grovyle by 21, Moonblast Clefairy at 24, etc. Was able to evolve her and Onix in Slateport, too.. Just be wary, things get very powerful very fast.
