I’ve had every pokemon game around the time it came out since gen 2 released and have only ever battled a real person one time, which was an online battle at the beginning of this year. I spent months slowly building a shiny team specifically for battling but suck so I fully expected to lose. I ended up winning, and haven’t played a match since just because I want to keep that perfect record. Waiting for Sword/Shield to come and will start focus on batting then.
