Since Abomasnow is based on the idea of the abominable snowman legend, my idea for a swamp monster Abomasnow is based on a similar type of cryptid, the common urban legend of "swamp things" or "muck monsters", usually depicted as vaguely humanoid creatures covered in vines and moss that emerge from bogs. Besides, Abomasnow is already vaguely straddling the line between "yeti acting like a yeti" or "yeti acting like a tree" anyway so having a variant that's just characterised as more aggressive/an ambush predator compared to the original that's more isolationist feels like the kind of contrast some regionals like to go for.
Only problem would be making it visually distinct from Tangrowth, so sadly I think my idea works best on paper.
