>>57634621Gameplay wise... mostly yes, actually? Most of the endgame content has scalable difficulty and you gradually punch higher as you get more characters, eventually becoming pretty trivial. The hardest stuff is the type-focused and endless boss rush leaderboard challenges that you will obviously be unable to seriously compete in at this point, and gimmick super bosses in their own little corner. The big thing is that this is a team game of gauntlets; five teams of three to fight the Elite Four, ten teams of three for the Rally, etc. You don't make one favorite team and just win everything with IT, so playing this game for ONE character is not wise.
Character collection wise, the game is nearly six years old and simultaneous banner bloat is in FULL swing with free currency payouts down from their peaks, but it is still easy to save for guaranteed pity pull, about six or seven weeks worth of free currency. Except for the Arceus recolors, that's another 20% extra for almost no perks. And I did just say all of that about most of the game being easy over time or irrelevant.
>>57635983 is correct in that there are other mechanisms to draw characters from the "common pool" and you'll eventually max them out over time. Though depending on the fate of the Villain Events we may have just lost the best of those methods.
