>>54982310I think of it like a first edition stamp. A little extra feature to distinguish a more exclusive version of the card. Plus that little stamp feels more sentimental when you play the game and earn the packs yourself. Plus there are all the commons that get play! exclusive holo versions. I'd like to collect them all, but the zards and pikas are a bit intimidating of price tags.
