>>38687579>cont.Tapu Bulu appeared. Right in the middle of my path. It just floated right there, glaring at me. At least that's what I thought its eyes conveyed to me. Then, as if right on queue, Breloom popped right out, and without a second of delay, smiled and went right for a Dynamic Punch without a single sign of acknowledgement that I was ready to battle. Tapu Bulu simply smashed Breloom aside, hardly reacting defensively. I called for Breloom to stop, use a different move that would have worked out better, anything, but it was the same story as before. Not a single notion from Breloom to any of my commands. Every single attack Breloom threw at the Island Guardian, it was met with a Wood Hammer, barely getting Tapu Bulu to break a sweat. It was utterly heartbreaking to see Breloom thrashed this hard, and just not give up. I would never want Breloom to give up, but it's just always felt that I was never a factor in his battles. I was just a vessel to carry Breloom to his next fight. Eventually, Breloom began to get worn down. He should have fainted long before from the amount of damage he sustained, but before Tapu Bulu could deliver a finishing blow, it bellowed at Breloom. It had to have told Breloom something, because after Tapu Bulu had spoken to Breloom, Breloom looked back towards me. He slowly trudged back, and collapsed to a knee in front of me. I reached for a potion in my bag, telling Breloom that I'd get him to a Pokemon center and we would go rest back at the Pokemon Academy. Then, Breloom pushed the device away. He tipped his head towards me, and looked back towards Tapu Bulu, then back to me. He wanted to keep going. The look in Breloom's eyes told me everything. I told him that if he didn't want to give up, then I wouldn't make him. If Breloom still wanted to battle, then we both would continue, together. For the first time, in a long while, I gave a command. I told Breloom to use Mach Punch to get in close, and we'd finally try something new.
