i prefer doubles and i like fucking around with the scarfed blue flare/glaciate/thunder/psychic set, but without the event moves i guess you could substitute fire blast over blue flare (searing shot hits the partner too iirc) and anything special (focus miss fails less thanks to the ability) or maybe even will-o-wisp over glaciate
