That being said, the online battling is either shit or great depending on your outlook. Like the meta in BSS is so ridiculously stagnant that you will literally almost always encounter at least one Charizard, Mimikyu, or Healthy Genie on the enemy's side since 3v3s are heavily biased towards hyper-offense. It's fun making your own off-meta team (rain is excellent for example although it's held down by Megazard Y's stupid Drought) but I'm not joking when I say the chances of encountering another person doing the same as you is basically finding a Shiny in the wild tier.
It's always the Japanese sperglords doing this cookie-cutter meta bullshit too for some reason. Who gets enjoyment out of doing constant mirror match-ups with the same broken mons? At least you can shock the fuck out of people by breaking the mold so it's impossible to predict your plays.
